About Me

I’m a Unity Developer living in the Washington, DC metro area, with a background in computer science from Western Governors University. My day-to-day work involves creating virtual environments and interactive experiences, which I find both challenging and rewarding. I’m drawn to the technical side of development—whether it’s optimizing performance or troubleshooting—but I also enjoy the creative aspect, especially when designing spaces that feel engaging and intuitive for users.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects that push me to think outside the box and find new solutions, and I love that no two days are the same in this field. Working in virtual reality is exciting because it feels like we’re just scratching the surface of what’s possible, and being part of that journey is what keeps me motivated.

When I’m not working, I like to spend my time on more hands-on hobbies. Woodworking has become a big part of my life, and it’s a great way to unwind and step away from the computer screen. I enjoy the process of creating something from scratch, whether it’s a piece of furniture or just a small decorative item. It’s a nice balance to the digital world I work in, and it allows me to express my creativity in a different way.

I also have a Shiba Inu named Sora who keeps me on my toes. He’s full of energy and personality, and spending time with him helps me stay grounded. Another hobby I’ve gotten into is 3D printing. I love coming up with new designs and watching them come to life through the printing process. It’s a lot of trial and error, but that’s part of the fun—figuring out how to make each project better than the last.

I think what ties everything together—whether it’s my work in virtual reality or my hobbies like woodworking and 3D printing—is a love for both problem-solving and creativity. I’m always looking for ways to improve and learn, and I find a lot of joy in the process of creating something, whether it’s digital or physical. I’m excited to keep exploring new opportunities, both in my career and in my personal projects, and to continue growing along the way.
