Overview
A collection of 13 interactive WebGL XR learning experiences spanning elementary math and science curricula, designed as part of the Strider Voyager series. The project includes six math-focused experiences (Fun Factory and Grand Buffet environments) and seven science-based experiences aligned with fourth-grade standards. Each experience places students inside themed, gamified environments — such as factory systems or exploratory science journeys — where they interact with concepts through hands-on mechanics, guided flows, and narrative-driven learning.
Purpose
Deliver engaging, standards-aligned math and science education through immersive, interactive environments. The experiences aim to reinforce core concepts — such as arithmetic operations, energy systems, earth science, and wave behavior — by embedding them into playful, intuitive gameplay loops.
Core features
- 01
Themed Learning Environments: Experiences range from factory-based systems (Packing Room, Shipping Room) to exploratory science journeys (Energy Explorer, Wave Rider).
- 02
Interactive Problem Solving: Students engage with math and science concepts through hands-on activities embedded directly into gameplay.
- 03
Modular Learning Systems: Reusable interaction frameworks allow consistent learning mechanics across multiple experiences.
- 04
Guided Narrative Flow: Camera transitions and structured sequencing guide players through each experience in a clear, engaging order.
- 05
QR Code Reward Integration: Incorporated QR-based systems to extend engagement beyond the experience and connect with AR content.
Challenges
- 01
High Volume of Experiences: Managing development across 13 separate products while maintaining quality and consistency.
- 02
Template-Based Constraints: Adapting pre-existing templates into unique, engaging experiences without sacrificing creativity.
- 03
WebGL Performance Limits: Balancing visual fidelity and interactivity within browser performance constraints.
- 04
Curriculum Alignment: Ensuring each experience accurately reflects educational standards while remaining engaging.
Solutions
